There have been a lot of complaints lately about dogs running at large. The Town of Fond du Lac has a leash law and all dogs must be on a leash or restrained within their own yard. Also, even if you live in the “country” when you walk your dog on a public road, you are required to clean up after your pet. The Town has an ordinance requiring cleaning up after your pet. First time offenders can be fined from $25.00 to $100.00 with future offenses of $50.00 to $250.00.
